Kristina Killgrove’s excellent blog post that not only addresses the med student anon’s question about whether anthropology would be a good pre-med major, but the fact that it is so very important to many fields. Apparently, she wrote it to address the whole Gov. Rick Scott fiasco from October of 2011, but it’s very relevant to the anon’s question.

Let's start with educators, politicians, lawyers, researchers, analysts, librarians, archivists, journalists, historians, museum curators, nonprofit management, litigation, legislation, public relations, social workers, psychiatrists, editors, corporate anthropologists, government analysts, translators, forensic analysts, speech writers, designers, etc. etc. Basically, Governor Scott, throw a freaking pebble in your own office building at the state capitol and I bet it will hit someone who probably got some form of liberal arts degree.
